Hajj & Umrah made seamless, spiritual, and memorable
FAQ
Answers to common questions about Hajj & Umrah
Hajj is the annual pilgrimage to Makkah performed on fixed days in the month of Dhul Hijjah, and it is obligatory once in a lifetime for every Muslim who is able to go. Umrah is a shorter pilgrimage that is not tied to those dates and can be performed at other times of the year. Umrah is not a substitute for Hajj.
Umrah is not tied to a particular month, but the Saudi authorities decide each season when Umrah visas are issued, and this pauses around Hajj. We plan our Umrah departures around those dates, so please enquire for the months currently available.
The pilgrim enters ihram, performs tawaf and sa'i, stays at Mina, stands at Arafat on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, spends the night at Muzdalifah, stones the jamarat, offers the sacrifice, shaves or trims the hair, and completes the Hajj with tawaf al-ifadah and the farewell tawaf.
Ziyarat means visiting holy and historical places. It includes the sacred sites of Makkah and Madinah, and our Iraq packages cover Baghdad, Karbala and Najaf.
